Game overview

Simple rules, tighter decisions, and a cleaner way to start.

A promotional illustration of the Minimal Snake board, showing the clean grid, the snake path, and the food target.

The snake keeps moving forward. Every piece of food makes the body longer, which means less room to turn and less time to recover from a bad line. High scores come from planning the next corner before it arrives.

The browser version is playable today, Android is already connected, and iOS is currently in development.

Gameplay scenes

Three moments that define how a run changes.

A clean opening board, rising obstacle pressure, and tighter late-game routing all ask for different decisions from the same simple rules.

Opening board scene with a short snake moving toward a single food target.

Clean opening

The first seconds are readable and open. You can settle into the route, pick your angle, and build length without the board feeling rushed.

Mid-game board scene with static and dynamic obstacles shaping the route.

Obstacle pressure

Static barriers and moving hazards change how every turn is planned. You can disable them, choose them manually, or let difficulty decide.

Late-game board scene with a long snake threading through a narrow path.

Tight endgame

Once the snake grows, a single mistake closes the board quickly. High scores come from reading the next corner before the current move is over.

Gameplay highlights

The same rules feel different as control, speed, and space shift around you.

01

Flexible controls

Switch between virtual joystick, direction buttons, and tilt on supported devices. On the web, mouse drag, Arrow keys, and WASD remain ready at any time.

02

Obstacle modes

Runs can stay clean, add static blockers, or introduce moving obstacles. You can tie them to difficulty or turn them off entirely.

03

Board and pace

Adjust board size, snake speed, frame rate, and block scale before the round starts, so quick sessions and longer survival runs each feel intentional.

04

Seamless entry

The moving preview in the hero expands directly into the playable board, so the homepage leads into the match without a hard scene break.

Platforms

Play on the web now, and review the mobile rollout in the same place.

The web version is live today. Android is already connected, and the iOS version is currently in development.

Web version

Play directly in the browser with click, drag, Arrow keys, and WASD. Core settings stay in the current browser so the board is ready the next time you return.

Local-first data

Mobile gameplay data and preferences stay on-device. The current mobile build does not upload records to the cloud and does not include advertising or analytics SDKs.

Android

Android is already available and will continue to expand motion and other device-native controls on top of the shared game experience.

iOS

Currently in development. Stay tuned.
